I am very pleased with Carolina Custom Air! My family and I had been five days without AC because my warranty company was hard to reach, then unresponsive and then slow to act. So, with their permission and the recommendation of my former real estate agent, I called Carolina Custom Air directly on Tuesday mid-morning. The customer service agent I spoke with could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Ultimately, Nicholas, the on-call HVAC expert was assigned the job and I was told that he had a very full schedule but that he could make it to my home after hours. Nicholas got there at 9:35 pm. He had already done 11 jobs that day and had three more after mine! His attitude was great anyway. He was a real can-do guy and his smarts and experience were on display. We tiptoed and whispered through the sleeping house. He climbed into the attic area where the systems were located. Twenty minutes later we had downstairs AC! Now for trouble-shooting outside for System 2. He got his ladder and fifteen minutes later he’d isolated the problem as a faulty dual capacitor. He had a new one in his truck! And twenty minutes later we had AC throughout the rest of the home. Nicholas offered to help close all the windows that remained open. I refused but I only share this because I want you to appreciate what a class-act this professional was in every way. He said that he was just doing his job and that anyone else on call would have done the same. The next morning I had a very reasonable invoice emailed to me. Carolina Custom Air gets an A+ in my book!
