Since writing my original review, I used Carolina Custom Air to replace my entire HVAC system with a new Trane Premier System. Accordingly, on 9/23/25 the Technicians showed up at 8AM and commenced laying down heavy canvas on all the interior floors they would use to access the furnace and evaporator coil in the attic. They used a hand truck to bring the outdoor unit to the concrete pad after removing the old unit . Together, Zack Watson, Carlos Gregorio, and Caleb Burley worked together as true professionals. Other crew who I believe was a supervisor also participated. Their work was exemplary and they not only instructed us on the use of the new high tech thermostat and phone app that allows control of the system, but also cleaned up so there was no sign of the vast amount of work that had been done. The salesman, John Nagy, was also exceptional, and gave me many options and price points on different systems. Their warranty that works in concert with having a maintenance contract with them is exceptional and exceeds the manufacturers. I can confidently recommend Carolina Custom Air to anyone in need of a HVAC company. They are true professionals, very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and exceptionally polite. Johnathan Schneider from Carolina Custom Air came out to determine why my air conditioning stopped working. After several tests he determined it was the compressor. He was very professional and showed me the evidence with thermal imaging and electronic testing. It wasn't pleasant news, but Johnathan was very pleasant and helpful. He made arrangements for a sales representative to contact me, which was done. I am a recent maintenance customer of Carolina Custom Air and have had to use them twice already. BEFORE REPAIRS/INSTALL Polite respectful Took time to hear understand issue n concerns. Did complete inspection. explained everything thoroughly. Answered all questions. Offered detailed plan photos expenses n offered comfort specialist to come n inspect before we proceed. Communicated with main office there so no delays. COMFORT SPECIALIST APPT - complete info provided alternatives provided all photos n information. Patient with questions. DAY OF INSTALL team arrived early - introduced themselves , began work right n stayed until all work completed. Cleaned out n carried away all trash. Company Representative/ Mgr for install team was punctual - stayed with job. Kept us updated. Made sure all was working properly on both service to one unit n duct replacement for other unit. We’ve been customers of Carolina Custom Air since 2009. They are very responsive for scheduling. The technicians are very knowledgeable and professional. They always go above and beyond to check our heating and air system to diagnose any issues and make sure everything is working properly. Wes was our technician this week. Great installation team in Gabe and James. They are personable, friendly, very polite, careful, and got the job done in one very long day. In stalled a mini-split. Of companies that could be vetted , their price was the best, but no complaints about equipment or installation. The outside unit arrived with a badly bent cover, but a replacement was delivered from Columbia so that everything could be completed in one day. Read Less

Carolina Custom was absolutely wonderful! The techs are very professional, well mannered and on time! Ive never been disappointed!
